Want to know what we think/thought?
“Meet me at TAIM it’s going down, catch me eating Falafel it’s going down!”
If you’re ever in NOLITA & want to grab a Snack, Lunch, Dinner, Smoothie, and/or a Fresh Lemonade stop by TAIM!
Or… You could be greedy just like me & purchase the following:
A Whole Wheat Pita Falafel Sandwich (which includes: Harissa Falafel, Hummus, Pickled Cabbage, Israeli Salad, & Tahini Sauce) with Fries & to top this all off a FRESH Ginger-Mint Lemonade! (For the record I don’t feel embarrassed that my lunch sounds like a grocery list worth of food!)
TAIM is reasonably priced, great for vegetarians, & also good if you want something quick healthy yet hearty!
**They know me by name & order here! 🙂 A nice touch may I add!
I’ll be sure to get Elle to post about what she eats at TAIM! We never get the opportunity to eat here together! However her TAIM sounds much more exciting than mine (nudge Elle) -> it’s your turn!
Thanks Sher! I got it from here 🙂 Okay guys, here’s what you must try at Taim..
If you’re not into the whole ‘everything being stuffed in between pita bread’ idea (like me!) or if you’re giving this place a try for the first time, I recommend you have the (Green or) Mixed Falafel Platter. Let me just say .. yes, I know it is a bit pricey ($12) but look at it this way, your getting more bang for your buck! Here’s what you’ll recieve:
- Bigger portions
- Two sides of your liking (I go for the cabbage and israeli salad)
- What seems like endless hummus *mmm
- Three types of falafels (if you’re getting the Mixed Platter)
- Three sauces to dip your falafels
- Pita bread
- The ability to make your own sandwich… or not!
I don’t know about you all, but i’m a sucker for dipping sauces and customizing my own sandwiches. So, if you’re one for variety, you must try the Platters at Taim!
P.S. I have to acknowledge how neatly that the staff packages everything! Every side stays intact- without mixing into another, the falafels are packaged separately, the sauces are bagged separate and the pita bread is wrapped separate too! Yes.. it’s pretty incredible!
